PANTS TECHNICAL SKETCH

Finally!!!! Got the hang of the pen tool.
My work still isn't perfect of course but I finally know how to manoeuvre the pen tool to create the shapes I want. Practise makes perfect!

Pen Tool

When I was tracing this figure I could not figure out how to remove the tool from colouring what I was tracing. Once that was sorted out, tracing was much easier.
I am really pleased with how this one turned out. For the first time I was able to manage the curves without sharper points so I feel I have improved in using the pen tool.

Tracing Using the Pen Tool

Tracing these figures wasn't too difficult. It took me a while at the beginning to figure out how to make the pen tool work because for some reason it wouldn't. However once that worked the rest was quite simple.

After spending 4 hours trying to do this task I just gave up in the end. The models are too difficult to practice on. I want to keep tryin gin my own time but for now this was the best I could after hundreds of attempts!!

Fashion Illustration: My attempt to recreate the fur jacket

This first image uses a paintbrush tool to create the fur effect. The pants have been smudged and the darken and lighten tool has been used to create depth and realism.
This design uses many different shades of blue to create depth and has shadow around the face to create volume.
The lighten tool has been used considerably in this illustration to give it an abstract look, along with the shades of pink paint brush splashes to give it a unique look.

The skirt was slightly confusing at the start. I didnt know how to do each layer seperately and then delete the background but eventually I got the hang of it and was able to fill in the skirt with my pattern.
I enjoyed shading the skirt and adding depth to make the skirt appear realistic.
